We designed a zero-waste sanitary pads packaging which means that is fully made of paper. The outside of the package is made of carton and the wrap of the pad is made of parchment. There are two different uses of the product, by hanging it in the bathroom to save space and by storing it in the drawer. Also, the package gives the option to the woman, to cut and take with her as many portions as needed. Its portion has two sanitary pads inside. If a woman wants to hang the package she has the choice to take off the carton of the thee sides, because these parts are perforated. This technic is also used for the portions cut off. The colors in the portions depend on the flow of the woman's period. Furthermore, every day that passes, a petal is removed from the flower, thus emphasizing that the period is ending. After long research, we notice that women want the packaging to be concealed because they feel embarrassed if anyone sees it. That's the reason we design minimalistic and elegant packaging. Finally, the whole packaging is 100% recyclable, so we save all this plastic amount that ends up in the trash every year by the women use sanitary pads.
